Hello!

I checked my invoices yesterday (all of them from the last 12 months) and I realized that Orange (my ISP) is charging me for television, even though it's not included in my subscription!!

What should I do? Should I send them a letter?

Thank you and have a good day everyone!

Change provider! Orange = thief (about 650 euros in my case). And I won't even mention the customer service.
The system of this company is unhealthy:
      - you buy a plan in store
      - you pay for useless options
      - your bill is inflated
      - you go to the same store to make a complaint about the damage caused, and there, you learn that they can't do anything for you, claiming they don't have the proper tools to provide you with your last 4 detailed bills and that you need to call a customer service (which is paid).
      - the same customer service tells you that you need to send a letter (pay again) to retrieve incomplete information (it’s not easy to verify calls and talk time)
      - the strongest part is when an advisor tells you "you know we have 30 MILLION subscribers, making us the largest market share in France, if things were going badly we would know"
      - of course when you tell him that he is only encouraging a cowardly company operation where he himself serves as a human shield against deceived subscribers, so that a few can fill their pockets. The guy thinks it’s normal that you have no immediate recourse, by that I mean it's impossible to cancel your subscription on the spot due to dissatisfaction with the services provided (a bit like if you bought an expired product in a store and the merchant told you to go after his supplier).
      - anyway, you’re not unaware that Orange has already been pointed out by the justice system for the reason:
      "management by terror"
today it’s their subscribers that they terrorize.
      - all this comes at a cost and it’s you dear subscribers who pay for it..

You must think that I'm angry?
I assure you, it’s worse than that, I am outraged!!!!

Therefore, I encourage all ORANGE subscribers to check their bills and sanction the abuses towards their finances.
Because it’s with your hard-earned money that they pay for their housing, their cars,
as well as a certain quality of life, without being grateful (which would still be the least they could do) and claiming that their service is impeccable.

Don’t let this kind of companies steal from you anymore!
But above all, prove to them that you are not cash cows
I remind you that as consumers you have rights, make it known!!!

Consumer friends, now you know what you have to do.

Hello, I signed up for an Orange subscription 3 weeks ago because their network was the only reliable one in my area; I activated a feature on my new phone without realizing it and I have an extra week of M6 mobile subscription on my bill without knowing it either!
I realized it because I check my bills and I’m wary of these operators.
The customer service representative tells me that I am responsible for my phone! Period!

    Hello,
I had the same kind of scamming experience with Orange. They tried to make me pay for TV options that I hadn't requested (especially since their TV is crap compared to that of other providers).
I disputed it and therefore didn't pay, but they haven't refunded my deposits (about 580 euros).
Try to contact other victims and maybe we can take Orange to court.

Hello, I no longer understand my bills. The subscription is €27.90 every month, no problem, but the line bills are completely random—one day €60, another €40, or even two bills in a month, especially since I don't have the right to a phone.

Hello, we received our internet bill and noticed there was an additional 16 EURO. It states "PURCHASES OF SERVICES ON THE INTERNET." We would like to understand why. We are being charged for something we did not request. We hope to receive more information; otherwise, we will proceed with a cancellation. I beg you to accept, Madam/Sir, my sincere regards.

    Hello,
Despite 3 letters, 3 calls to 3900, a complaint registered by Orange, (25 minutes on the phone with an advisor), despite a letter from Orange confirming my cancellation request on October 20, 2010, despite a document certifying the return of my live box on October 4, 2010, despite an appointment at the Orange store in Ivry, confirming after reviewing my file, my subscription cancellation on October 20, 2010, ORANGE has continued to make automatic withdrawals for the past 4 months. I had to block my bank account. This is shameful, and I am considering canceling my subscription for my iPhone and mobile phones.

    Hello,

I have also noticed that for the past 2 months, Orange has been charging me for unwanted and inactive TV options!! This is pure and simple theft! The customer service representatives I have dealt with barely understand French; I had to repeat myself at least 3 times to be understood... I am considering switching providers as soon as possible.

    Hello Florence,
For 4 months, while I had called, written, returned my Livebox, and received the acknowledgment of receipt, Orange continued to charge me the subscription fee of €33/month. I called 3 times to get this to stop, without success. My only recourse was to block this charge with my bank, which, by the way, pointed out that many of us were in the same situation. I then sent a registered letter with proof attached. Today, not only have I stopped the charges, but I have also been fully reimbursed. Do the same, with your contract as support.

    Best regards

Yes, a lovely bunch of thieves, but don't pay them; they can't attack you, it would cost them too much in court. They scammed me today too; I left, do like me, get out of here.
