Hello,
I want to format my computer and to back up data, my only solution is to partition my disk. But when I try to access the logical disk manager in Windows XP (Right-click on My Computer, Manage...), I get a message that says:
"You do not have access rights to the logical disk manager on MYCOMPUTER".
I am the only user of this machine, so I am the administrator.
I have already done some research, I restarted the RPC service, but it doesn’t work.
Thank you for responding.

Yes, it's the same.
I will try with a disk partition software but I don't know if it will have the rights.
I'll let you know. -
Hello again,
I saw a software for creating partitions called Easeus Partition Manager, I would like to know if I could partition my hard drive that contains my OS. It's my only hard drive. -
Good evening, have you tried doing (control panel - administrative tools - and computer management)?
