Hello everyone! My PC has been making a lot of noise for the past 5 days! I would like to know if you might have any idea how to make it stop!
Or at least where the problem comes from!
Thank you very much!
My PC is only 4 months old! P4 2.8ghz, 512mo ram, geforce fx5700 128mo!
That's it, thank you for helping me!

Hi Kuro!!! Before turning on your computer (carefully, of course!!!), open your case and just check what’s making noise, look at the fans, pass your hand near the fans to see if they’re spinning well, check if dust has accumulated on the blades of the fan and the fins... but do this cautiously, don’t touch the components to avoid creating any instability for your computer. If there’s too much dust, use a can of compressed air, recommended for cleaning electronic components. There you go, if this can help you, my assistance will be rewarded by the resolution of your problem...!!! A+++ mister Chai

If you think your PC is noisy (especially the fans) and it's making a racket!
First, determine if it's a metal noise, especially if there are fans on the side panels or the bottom of the PC!
The metal used in today's PCs is so thin that it resonates everywhere, so you should avoid leaving large areas of metal unsupported. To find out where the metal is making noise, just press down with a finger in various spots on the metal!
Mine was loud on the top metal, so I wedged a piece of bubble wrap between the power supply and the top panel... inside, of course, for the clueless ^^
There are also adhesive rubbery foams; stick them on the side panels as they absorb resonances.
Otherwise, make yourself a wooden case if you're desperate!!! Lol -
