Here as indicated in the title, I have ventilation issues with my HP Pavilion ze4130 laptop. It works intermittently; when it’s not ventilating there’s no problem, but as soon as it starts to cool the system, the noise is quite significant. I compared it with other laptops from different brands and it’s no contest!  I would like to know if anyone else has the same problem as me with HP Pavilion laptops and if it is possible to change or have the fan of a laptop changed.  Thank you for your help. + :-)

Mine had this problem. I took it apart, cleaned the fan thoroughly (in other words, I removed 2 kg of dust) and since then, it's dead silent.

I realize I'm bringing up a topic that's four years old, but it's relevant to my issue.
Indeed, I have an HP Pavilion zd8000 laptop, and it makes an unbearable noise. Since I'm looking to sell it, I would like to find a solution to make it quieter, as that will put a lot of people off.

The fact is, it makes this loud noise all the time, right from the moment I turn it on, and even if I'm doing nothing but chatting on MSN.

So here I am reaching out to you; I've tried NHC and SpeedFan. NHC doesn't change the fan speeds at all, while SpeedFan doesn't even detect them.

I have the same problem!

My computer is 8 days old, and indeed, it ventilates loudly the HP!

At the library, I'm always surprised not to hear the noise of other students using their laptops.

I should mention that before the HP, I had a PACKARD BELL and it was the same thing, maybe even worse! It ventilated a lot, so my question is, which laptop ventilates silently, without disturbing the neighbor next to me in the library..?

No problem, the more it ventilates the better it is, and for electronics preservation, you need some noise. Otherwise, overheating happens, especially in the summer... and hello damage!
On my old desktop PC that lasted 10 years, I set up a cooling system that would make any underground parking owner jealous!
I have a Toshiba that blows intermittently, it will soon get an additional cooling pad

Hello,

The additional cooling pad is very useful; I bought one not long ago.
It raises the laptop while ventilating it from underneath. It allows your computer's fans to blow out hot air at maximum, and thanks to that, your computer heats up a lot less.

This topic is a bit old, but I also have a problem (HP Pavilion dv6), it makes a lot of noise and vibrates. After putting it to sleep, it sometimes starts up without the noise, but it starts up with the slightest shock (even pressing a little hard on the keys).
