Hello,
and help, my Acer Aspire One won't turn on at all. What to do?
I must have made a mistake: I connected a USB plug to the computer and on the other side of the cable there is an ethernet plug, I was trying to connect the computer to the Freebox; It's since then that it won't turn on. Help!
Thank you

Here is the procedure that worked for me:
To get you out of this pseudo deadlock, you need:
=> strong nerves and above all, don't panic!
=> a blank USB flash drive formatted to FAT32 (very important)
=> the latest BIOS for the netbook (downloadable from the manufacturer's website: https://www.acer.com/worldwide/support/ )
STEP 1: unplug the Aspire One from the power supply and remove the battery to turn it off.
STEP 2: copy the downloaded BIOS to the root of the USB flash drive (you need to unzip it and copy the files to the USB stick)
STEP 3: rename the BIOS file ****.FD to ZG5IA32.FD (it's super important to rename the file)
STEP 4: plug the USB flash drive into the netbook
STEP 5: plug the netbook into the power supply without the battery
STEP 6: press the fn+Esc keys and then, while holding the keys down, turn on your netbook until the power button blinks. Release the buttons and click once on the power button.
Wait a few minutes; the power button will turn off but not the computer, and then, miracle, the computer will turn back on by itself!!
Normally, the netbook restarts by itself in less than five minutes... if that's not the case... I'll let you guess the rest...

Can you please tell me how you got this information? It's a professional procedure recommended in case of no power or no video on the AOA110 and 150.
