Hello,

I bought an LCD, LG (LG ELECTRONICS - LCD TV - 16/9 - 32'' - 82cm - HD Ready - TNT - 32LG3000) and I can't get the stand to hold the screen installed!!

My problem may seem silly, but the 4 screws provided do not screw properly into their respective places!! I'm starting to lose patience, so if any of you have purchased a screen like this, please shed some light on my situation!!!!!!!!!

Thank you in advance
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.18

Same problem as VGA, I just bought this screen today, no particular issue fastening the 8 screws.
But the screen also leans forward (play between the screen and the stand). I'm really afraid it's going to fall!

Does your screen do the same? (it might be normal).

Otherwise, do you have a solution to fix this?

Thank you for your responses.

Problem solved, I had forgotten 2 screws that connect the two parts of the foot. It's silly, but I looked for a while.

You need to screw in the black screws to assemble the two ends of the base
then if you want you can put in the gray screws that you insert from the back of the screen into the holes designed for that purpose.
there you go

Same problem with the model 42LP2500.
We have secured the base, but the screen is not stable on it. It is tilted forward and there is play between the base and the screen. We also have another problem; we have tightened the base to the screen so much that 2 of the screws no longer have a grip, and as a result, we can't unscrew everything to return our TV.
Does anyone have a simple and quick solution?

Katie, I am experiencing the same problem as you right now: the 4 screws are not fitting properly into the base, I don't understand anything!!!!!!

Did you manage to fix it and if so, how?

Or can someone else please provide me with some information?

It's a LG 32LG3500 80 cm

Lol same, the two screws at the bottom are perfect, but the one at the top just won't go in, so I only left two screws...

Hello, I have exactly the same problem as you, the hole positions of the base do not match at all with those of the intermediate piece, how did you manage it? Did you bring your television back??
Thank you

I don't know if it's the same system but here's how I'm going to do it for my LG

then: install the LG Scarlet

then: just listen...

I hope I helped you...

Hello,
I have the same issue with the LG 3500, it's impossible to attach the base, the 4 screws don't go in completely.
And if we use smaller screws, then the base no longer fits into the TV!

Has anyone found a solution?

Yes, thank you, but actually the problem occurs at step 2: the screws are not the right ones! (too big!)
I found a solution to stabilize the TV: to take two of the 3 small screws from the bottom of the base because they are the right size. But on one hand, there is only one left underneath and on the other hand, there are 2 above instead of 4.
But I will proceed with the exchange at Fnac, where I went today and the salesperson told me he was aware of this problem, which often happens with LG.

Errors in packages are very rare. Make sure you are properly aligned with the thread, and if so, check that your screw head hasn't been damaged by excessive force (if you're using a power screwdriver, for example).

Good luck
