Unable to access my TikTok account

I know my username and password, and I’m still logged in on my PC. But on my new phone, TikTok asks for a code sent to an old Hotmail address that I no longer control (temporary email created on a phone that was stolen).

What I’ve already tried, without success:

- The email is masked as g******@*** — I tried a few addresses, Microsoft says “account does not exist.”

- No phone number linked to the account.

- The “verify on another device” option only offers a QR / FIDO passkey → this passkey was on the stolen phone.

- The web version (Manage account) has NO option to add/change the email or phone number.

- The Microsoft Store app and “download my data” request the same code by email.

I contacted support: first reply “account not linked to an email/phone” → even though it clearly sends a code to that Hotmail.

I remember the password for that Hotmail — if I could recover the exact address, I could log back in. Has anyone recovered their account in this exact situation (lost linked email, no phone number)? Any way to make TikTok reveal the full address, or a lead I might have missed? Thanks ????

    Hi there,

    I understand your situation, which can drive you to pull your hair out. You’re right to mention the impossibility of managing your account via the website; the features aren’t there. However, there’s one detail you note: you remember the password to your Hotmail address.

    Try going to this page and fill in as much information as you can recall. For example, you don’t remember creating a backup email address in case your email becomes inaccessible?

    I’ll try to find out if there might be another way via TikTok.

      For the first link, you need to know the email to look it up, so it's not possible on my side

      And the second one, I tried with the email method but it gives me another email so it doesn't work

      Actually what’s frustrating is that I know the password and the username of my account so that should be enough!! But no, PCK asks me to confirm with the email, it’s just annoying. By the way I did manage to log in from my PC PCK—I didn’t get the code by email, but on the PC I can’t change the email or phone number via account/settings...
