Connected to the internet but nothing loads Solved/Closed

Question

Hello, I have a mobile device that works perfectly on Wi-Fi. However, on the PC, whether it's via Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or USB, no pages are displayed, not a single page. It tells me that the connection is okay, so there's apparently no issue with the settings, but the pages won't open.... they're stuck. Where could the problem come from?!? Considering it's not the firewall or an antivirus. I have the impression that it's something very simple that I'm missing, but I can't see what. Thank you in advance for your help. Gand.

Hello everyone! I FOUND IT!!!!!!  I had this problem myself and I've just found the solution (like a pro) I’m personally on Vista and I have Mozilla. I just had to open Mozilla, go to TOOLS> OPTIONS> NETWORK. Then you click on settings in the connection box. And there you check the automatic detection of proxy settings for this network. There you go!!! It worked for me...If you’re using Chrome, there should be an equivalent...it's up to you to find it!!!

Try to resolve the issue by setting IE as the default browser.  < Control Panel < Add/Remove Programs < Set Default Programs < Expand the "Custom" menu < then select Internet Explorer as the default browser < OK.  See you later Pasthou

Hello everyone,  If the pages are only blocking for Firefox, it means your antivirus is not allowing it to pass. In this case, you will need to add it to the exceptions.  If it's for all browsers and your connection has no issues, do check your antivirus nonetheless. It could be coming from there.
