PB with the BERCHET KIDS DVD remote

Hello,

I’m desperate because I can't get the BERCHET interactive DVD KIDS remote control to work.
Even though the whole procedure goes smoothly, nothing happens with the cards I put in.
And the batteries are new!

Please, HELP!

My daughters are waiting to test the 5 games.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

You need to insert the card in such a way that the magnet at the top of the game card aligns with the white rounded buttons on the remote control. This activates the signal. When the card is properly inserted, a beep will sound, and the sequence will then be initiated on the DVD/TV.

Thank you.
I can hear the beep indicating that my card is properly inserted.
I've restarted the programming more than 20 times, and it almost always crashes when I try to get the interactive TC to communicate with my DVD TC.

I can't take it anymore...
- either the programming fails
- or, when it succeeds, the game doesn't move.

Yet, inserting a card should trigger something....

I've also tried a bunch of codes, since my scope (or at least the brand) is known.
But nothing.
Despite the 2 beeps indicating that everything went well, the game doesn't move.

My god!

Apparemment, tu n'es pas le seul à avoir ce problème ; certains disent que ça viendrait du lecteur DVD, il est soit trop vieux, soit trop récent.

Hello,
I'm also trying to get the Berchet remote control to work, but the numbered buttons don't seem to be functioning (I do get a long beep when I plug in the connector)...
Have you experienced the same issue, and if so, did you find the solution?

Thank you for your response.

Hello,
I managed to get my DVD player programming to work by repeating the operation many times.
In fact, the time it worked, I positioned the two devices face to face and gently pressed the buttons
A lot of patience is the solution.

after several attempts, all more unsuccessful than the last, I finally succeeded... I had two issues:
*the first was that I hadn't put the CD in the drive (oops!) before programming my remote
*the second was that the number "0" on the installation sheet didn't work (I just had to choose another code).

since then, my 4-year-old daughter has been having a lot of fun with "her own computer" and we even ordered two other games from Santa Claus.

I hope my solutions can help you, even though ultimately my problems were quite easy to solve!

good luck to you

Well, it seems like I've done it!
I struggled until 1:20 in the morning, and I managed to get the TC working.
The procedure is fragile and often crashes, but we eventually get there.

Good evening,

I have the same problem!
I changed my DVD player. I found some codes on a Spanish website, but they don't work!
Do you have the steps for automatic search?
It's really a shame that a game that's so easy for kids is so difficult to program!
Thank you for your help!

Hello,

After changing the DVD player (Biostek brand), we encountered the following problems:
- The Berchet remote only emits a long beep and then nothing happens.
- There are no programming codes for my new DVD player, as the brand is not on the list.
Can you help me?

Thank you in advance for your response.
