My controller won't stop flashing. Closed

Question

Hello,
My controller has a problem (regular controller), when I try to turn it on, it keeps flashing and doesn't connect to player 1-2-3 or 4. I tried to resynchronize it with no results, and apparently, it seems to be in good condition. Please, I don't want to buy another one; could you please respond? Thank you.

Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.3

reset the controller with a toothpick, press the small button located at the back of the controller (tiny hole) (reset)

pffff well it's the same for me, I'm even forced to remove the batteries to turn it off. did you find a solution Marcoux9?

I've had the same problem for 10 minutes. I went to a friend's house and since then it hasn’t worked anymore, it just keeps flashing.

1. Turn on the console
2. Turn on the controller
3. Press the white detection button on the console
4. Press the small white detection button on the controller but hold it down for a few seconds, about 3-4 seconds
I found this on another forum and it works.

j'ai la réponse, tu dois appuyer sur le bouton à droite de lb et lt et le bouton de ta 360 (en bas des prises de carte mémoire). J'espère que ça va marcher...

The white button, I believe it's referring to the Playstation logo at the center of the controller (the PS button).

I turned on the PlayStation and pressed the P on the controller, and it turned on the PlayStation and recognized it. If that can help you, in any case, my problem is resolved.

you open your controller, unplug your battery, and plug it back in 5 seconds later and it works

Easier than that:

1- Open the Xbox 360
2- Open the Controller
3- Press the Xbox 360 detection button
4- Press the controller detection button
And there you go ;)

There are 2 detection buttons, one on the Xbox and the other on the controller..
You need to do both for the Xbox to find the controller and for the controller to find the Xbox.

I have a problem please
yesterday when I connected my controller to the USB port of the PS3 it worked fine, it was charging and I could play at the same time
today the controller when I plug it into the port it blinks (4 LEDs) every two or three seconds
and I can't play and I don't even know if it's charging :(
please help me

When the controller is blinking, connect it to the PS3 and it will recognize it. -- BFBC2 in force

I struggled several times before successfully getting it to work. I launched a scan on the PS3 to find the Bluetooth in the settings, I plugged the controller in via USB and pressed the small white button on the back of the controller for a while, and by some miracle, it works again after multiple attempts... I can’t tell you exactly how I did it, but the ingredients are there.. a controller, a USB charging cable.. a needle to press the button on the back of the controller and of course the PS3... good luck.. I’m going back to gaming....

plug the controller into a USB cable on your PS3 and press the PS button between start and select and there you go, it works at least for me ;)

For your Xbox, if the 4 player lights are flashing at the same time on your controller, press the middle button multiple times and then immediately click on the sync button. And there you go.

Xbox 360: To connect a controller to the console, press the sync button on both the controller AND the console at the same time for about 2 or 3 seconds (on both buttons), then you will see the LEDs flash differently, which means your controller is connected.

PlayStation 3: I have no idea and I don't care, since, for one, I DO NOT have the PS3, for two, I DO NOT LIKE the PS3, and for three, I do NOT PLAY the PS3.
