Hello,
I have an InDesign document for which I need to reduce the ink levels. I saw that this can be found in "my color preferences," but I can't seem to find them and I have no idea how to solve this problem.
Does anyone know more about it?
Thank you

Hello,
The ink density refers to photos and can be adjusted in Photoshop.
Open the image and convert it to RGB (Image > Mode > RGB Colors)
Then go to Edit > Colors > (in the first box Workspace) CMYK > Custom CMYK (at the top) > Total Ink Limit > 280
Switch back to CMYK. Update your photos in InDesign.
You can check the ink density of your photos using the Info panel (in the box at the top left there is a pipette, click on it and activate Total Ink.

I have exactly the same problem: namely, an ink limit exceeding 300% on two images imported from Photoshop. (To be precise, it's in the hair where the ink limit is too high).
So I tried your technique to modify it directly in Photoshop, but once I re-edited the image links in InDesign, it's still the same!!!
I still have the ink limit issue for these two images.
What to do!!!
Help!!!
