[Hp 6700 premium] Ink Issue

Hello everyone,

I just returned from 5 months abroad.

When I plugged in my printer, it asked me to change the "Cyan" cartridge, which I did (with HP cartridges, of course).

I was then able to print my documents without any problems.

The next day, I turned it on and it displayed "ink problem".

I went to the HP online support and followed the instructions:

- Update the software: done
- Unplug for at least 60 seconds: done
- Remove all cartridges and clean them: done

After extensive research, I found a video explaining how to clean the excess ink (sometimes the cause of this problem) from the cartridge holder, which I followed to the letter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSPXV3anp8E

Indeed, the cartridge holder had released a lot of ink, and that was no luxury!

I reassembled everything (it was quite simple by the way), and now it displays: "carriage movement impossible".

When I power it on, the carriage moves and strikes abnormally to the far left (its parked position is on the far right).

Of course, I can’t find anything online, at least nothing regarding the HP 6700!

I'm quite embarrassed because it’s not that old (but it’s no longer under warranty!!) and hasn’t been used much! I don’t know if this is planned obsolescence but honestly, it's frustrating!

If you have any leads, I’m all ears!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Laurent
