Hello,
I have a very big problem; I installed the My Lockbox program on my personal computer,
and I mistyped the password without realizing it and confirmed it. But now that I want to open my hidden files, it refuses the password I thought I had set.
The documents I am hiding are quite important, and I would like to recover them.
If someone could help me, I would appreciate it. Thank you
P.S.: I have 3 partitions, and I installed the program on a partition different from the one containing the Windows folder because if I had installed it on partition C, which is where the Windows folder is located, I would only need to format the partition where the program was located instead of the one with the hidden documents.
I disassembled the program and tried to find parts of my password, but no results as the password is encrypted.

Problem solved
1. boot Windows in safe mode 2. delete My Lockbox 3. and you will recover your hidden file PS: the password is no longer an issue :D

Restart your PC
Press F8 as soon as it starts
Check Start in Safe Mode
And avoid writing in all caps -_-'
If you still can't see it, check on Google :) -
Hello.
I had the same problem.
Everything was already hidden on an external hard drive and blocked by My LockBox.
So I tried the above manipulation. Restart. F8 at startup. I deleted My LockBox.
I restarted my PC. I went to check my external hard drive. It deleted all the files I wanted at the same time, so I doubt this is the right solution.
I'm very disappointed right now. :( -

Hello, I am in the same situation as you; I can't remember my password, and I don't know much about computers. Can someone please help me? It's really important!
