Hello, I am currently doing an internship in graphic design. I'm just starting out...
I created a frame with a drop shadow, then I imported a photo on the same layer, and by selecting the frame and the photo, I created a clipping mask. So far so good.
But ... because there is a but, I would like to remove it since I need to import it into Photoshop to create a PSD file (this document will be used for a website). I don't know how to remove the drop shadow.
Since the "effect" was created yesterday, I can't use the magic key: ctrl+Z
Does anyone have a solution, apart from redoing everything....
Thanks in advance

Hi Framboize,

To remove your drop shadow is very simple:

Select the element to which you applied the effect using the "selection" tool (black arrow) if your object is not grouped with other elements (otherwise, use the "direct selection" tool (white arrow). If you applied the effect to a group, select the group.

Then click on the "appearance" icon (to open this tool, go to "Window" in the top tool bar, then on appearance). You should see, if you selected the right element, a line "Drop Shadow".

If you want to completely remove the effect, drag this line to the small "trash" icon while keeping your left mouse button pressed.

If you want to modify its appearance, double-click on it and the "drop shadow" window with the settings you configured will open, and you can change them as you wish.

I hope I was clear enough ^^

Good luck with your internship!

As always, it's important to remember to embellish the taskbar, thanks for the help.
