the picture on my Freebox HD freezes

Hello,
I have been a Free subscriber for a month, and for some time now, particularly in the evening, my HD box freezes on the current image and displays the name and program of the current channel.
I have to change channels and wait a few seconds before my channel works normally again.

I thought it was a bandwidth issue (4500m from the NRA and 62db loss in a unbundled area), but even when I switch to "low bandwidth" channels, I still have the same problem after a few minutes.
Moreover, I had no problems during the first month; this issue has only arisen in the last few days.
I also considered a known issue with the HD box, which is abnormal overheating, so I installed a fan/cooler for a laptop under my HD box... but I still have the same image freezing problem on the channel.
I have also tried several times to reboot, reconnect, distance the cables, check capacitors etc...
And the Free hotline, I'd rather not even think about it ;)

Has anyone experienced the same problem?
Can you give me some advice???

Hello, I had the same problem two months ago. I also tried everything until the day I got angry with a lady from the hotline. A technician was sent to me, the problem didn't come from my place but from France Telecom, the lines were too congested. They intervened after two weeks and I was finally able to get my Free HD TV back :) The best solution remains the hotline for that :(

First of all, thank you for your response :)
At the beginning of my contract and following some bandwidth issues, a Free technician came to my place, and another France Telecom technician went to the NRA, but they told me there was no technical problem apart from my distance (4500m) and my losses (62db).
As you said, this might be due to network congestion, but during the first month, I really had no problem with my "low bandwidth" channels, so I don't understand.
Regarding the Hotline, apart from mindlessly repeating the basic procedures (which are useless) to reset my boxes, I might as well consult "real" experts.

I am still waiting for your responses if you have other solutions...

If it can help, it worked for me:
I had the TV box and the DSL modem connected to extensions, with power strips
I plugged each one directly into a wall socket, without extension cords, without power strips, and it works now!

As for me, I also had the problem. I did as one of the members explained: I unplugged the Freebox Player and the server from the power strips and plugged them directly into the wall outlet, and it works perfectly.

Personally, I had the same problem resolved by plugging the HD box into a wall outlet. If that's not possible, connect both boxes with an Ethernet cable. The issue comes from the low speed of the powerline adapter (CPL) when it is plugged into a power strip.
