TV bug on Freebox Revolution

Question

Hello,
so, my Freebox is working properly for web browsing on the TV, the internet on the computer is working perfectly, the games on Freestore are working too, but there are too many interruptions or bugs with the TV reception.

the image freezes but the sound continues to work.
I don't understand because I've rebooted several times.

for your information, the applications like Freestore games have been working since yesterday while I have been connected since last Thursday.

are the settings arriving gradually?

the problem with the bugs comes from the freeplug, normally we call them freebugs.
my free plug connected to the free box has an issue when I plug in the ethernet from the freeplug it doesn’t light up while the indicator on the TV box is on once the ethernet is plugged into one of the 4 or 5 ports.

so my solution was to unplug the ethernet from the freeplug connected to the free box while keeping just the little power cable and to plug in its place an ethernet cable going from the free box to the free TV.

My TV no longer has any bugs even in HD quality, it’s an immediate and effective solution, good luck.

you need to keep up with FreeRevolution news on ADUF or Freenews, there's still some work to be done, this product is not finalized yet, but updates are coming. For your TV issue, first check your "atm" speed in the properties menu, for terrestrial TNT the antenna signal must be excellent, the Freebox HD TNT is not very sensitive, and that's also true for the V5

Salut les gars, j'ai eu le même problème, plusieurs raisons, il ne faut déjà pas brancher une multiprise, maxi 2 prises, ensuite il faut échanger les freeplugs s'il bug encore mais comme a dit un de nos confrères de Free, rien n'est finalisé, tu vois.

the V6 doesn't work miracles either, reread my response above on 02/11; ADSL has its limits and it's unfortunate that no prior warning is given to future Free users. Everywhere, ISPs hide behind the often incomprehensible phrase "subject to eligibility", which reserves many unpleasant surprises. The V6 can't do anything despite its amazing technology; Free would need to have its own lines, those of FT are quite old and often in a pitiful state and insufficient in copper section; the voice and the ringing of grandpa's phone (the one with a crank) are somewhat okay but as soon as we want to increase frequencies over long distances (very common everywhere), it doesn’t work as expected. Just know that some have V5s and also V6s that don't even provide TV! As my mechanic used to say, there's no point in having a Ferrari if you can't shift to third gear (there are 6). The hypothetical fiber may one day reach you and it will be better?

I had a problem with my Freebox Revolution when I wanted to watch TV; it stayed stuck on Freebox TV with a black screen. I unplugged my Freeplug (like a pig) and it all worked.

Hello, sometimes the free plug connection via the electrical network doesn't work well. If the boxes are nearby, it's quick to connect the provided network cable; otherwise, we might have to move because we can't redo the house's electrical network (old installation).
Also, check the ATM speed on the ADSL box, which should be at least 8 Mbps; below that, HD is not allowed, and you need to switch the TV to low bandwidth mode. It's due to the phone lines from FT, which are often in poor condition; ADSL struggles to function well. As a temporary remedy, reboot the box (turn it off and on using the power cable) once a week.

Good evening, so I’m not going to provide an answer but rather my exasperated testimony: my Evolution box hasn’t been working for a week: no internet, no TV, and no phone.... (I work from home, it’s not funny) I call every day because nothing is moving and strangely, when I was speaking with people who work on a platform abroad, they didn’t resolve the issue but at least they were extremely polite. However, this evening I encountered an impersonal voice informing me that my call was being handled in France (Yay!!! What an upgrade) and there I spoke to a gentleman who spoke to me like I was an idiot and was really unpleasant, telling me that he didn’t know anything but that statistically, my problem should be resolved within 10 days... Statistically!!!!

For some time (since November 2014), the TV started to freeze and eventually stopped displaying an image. I am only 200m from a distributor and benefit from 20Mb of bandwidth, so the problem doesn't come from that; internet and phone services are functioning correctly. The conclusion is therefore that the problem lies with the Free equipment or its configuration. They cannot say that they are not the source of the problem.
Moreover, the issue is recent; I have had the Revolution since its release, initially with a ridiculous bandwidth that barely allowed me to watch one channel while recording another; now that the bandwidth is huge, it no longer works properly.

Freebox Revolution TV bug:
My issue was freezing images, freezes, no sound...
The problem came from the freeplugs... the top configuration is for them to be plugged directly into a socket (or if it's on a power strip, both freeplugs should be on the same strip and next to each other - important).
There is a procedure to reconfigure them; otherwise, while waiting for your new connection:
You plug freeplug B (TV) into the same power strip as freeplug A (box displaying the hour) and next to each other (important), then press the freeplug A LED for 15 seconds, then the freeplug B LED for 15 seconds, then 2 seconds on the freeplug A LED, and finally 2 seconds on the freeplug B LED.
Reconnect freeplug B to the TV....
This method helped me, I hope it helps you too?
