Solved

Hello,

I have a small problem with Photoshop. I must have done something wrong, my cursor has turned into a hand. I can't do anything on my working files, no tool works on the layers. I can't change my cursor to get rid of this damn hand and be able to modify my working files...

Could you help me?

Thank you in advance,

Chris

    Hello,

When you get stuck with the hand tool in PhotoShop CS4, the simplest solution is the following:

Window menu => Workspace => Essentials (by default)

Click and you're back in business.

    Best regards

wow! I thought I had a bug in all my programs.

But why did this happen? On programs that I didn't have problems with, I see that the contagion has affected my collection!

Anyway SA7or, thank you very much.

It's simply the space bar that got stuck, press it again and it will come back!

For me, the problem was solved by simply pressing the SHIFT key.

I don't know if there really is a solution; it's a bug in the software. For my part, it's the opening of Firefox that removed the hand tool for me. Good luck with Adobe.

    Hi,

Please also pay attention to the caps lock... which has unintended effects when we want to use the tools...

    Hi Chris
In the toolbar, you have selected the hand tool
    Select another one
    (to display the tools:
    Window > Show tools)

    Keep us updated Rocache

Well, in the end, everything was resolved after turning the program off and on twice...

But I don't think I selected the hand tool. I could select the other tools, but my cursor was always in the shape of a hand when I wanted to work on a layer...

Anyway, the problem is solved, that's what matters!!

    Thanks anyway!

    Chris.

Hi, I had the same thing happen to me and it disappeared on the second restart of the program. Otherwise, I also hid and then showed the tools before it started working again.
