Text cursor issue in Photoshop

Hello,
I've been using Photoshop daily for a while now, but I've run into a problem that I can't solve.
When I type text, the cursor stays to the left of the text and doesn't follow it. When I add punctuation, it appears at the beginning of the text and I can't place it at the end.
If anyone can help find the issue, I would greatly appreciate it!

Just change the text alignment to the left in the paragraph window.
