One speaker out of two

Hello,
I have a little issue:
I have a subwoofer with two speakers connected to my sound card with a single jack plug.

I only have one speaker that works while when I plug the jack into my phone, both speakers and the subwoofer function correctly.

So I bought a new sound card thinking it was faulty.
With the new sound card, the same problem occurs; I only get sound from one speaker and the subwoofer works weakly.

There may be a checkbox to check or uncheck, but I don't know where it is; can someone help me?

Thanks in advance.
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.15

Hello,

I had the same problem with my ALTEC LANSING set, the issue was the cable connecting the speaker to the SUB that had a bad contact...

I tried another cable, still the same.

You said you tried your speakers with the phone, so the cable was already good. Did you check the settings on the computer?
Do you have the same settings as on your Hi-Fi system for bass, treble, and for each channel? If one channel is at zero, you won't have any sound from the corresponding speaker!
See you!
