PS3 freeze during gameplay Closed

Question

Hello,

So here it is, I'm playing quietly, and then suddenly for no apparent reason, the screen freezes, so I wait for it to pass, but the problem is: over 2 hours have gone by and still no sign of activity, so I unplug the scart from the back of the TV and plug it back in, still no sign of activity, well, then I completely unplug the scart from the PS3 and plug it back in, again and still no sign of activity, so I turn off the PS3 manually.

(For those who don't know how to do it manually: hold the finger on the power button for several seconds and then normally there is a BEEP that means the PS3 will turn off, you can let go)

So I turned off the PS3 manually since I can’t even access the options with the PS button, everything goes normally, I turn the PS3 back on and the bug is gone.

The problem is: the screen freezes and stays like that until we turn off the PS3.
Question: How can I eliminate or simply stop this bug when it happens?

Note: this bug only happens when I'm playing and it occurs more and more often, so please help me before I can no longer play with my PS3!

Unfortunately, there are no solutions for your problem. My PS3 did the same thing before it stopped reading any games.
So in my opinion, your console won't last much longer.

It's not your fault, it's a player of yours or a friend, whatever, and he freezes your PS3. It happened to me too and it was friends.

Freezer is a fairly common bug and there’s nothing to do except maintain it by cleaning it from time to time, manually (vacuum on very low power) or automatically (open button and switch). I recommend letting it cool for 15-20 minutes every hour, and also when you freeze it, there’s no point in waiting 2 hours; it won’t restart, it’s not an issue with the Scart socket. The last time my Play froze, I turned it off and since then it hasn’t restarted (Ylod).

Same problem with my 160GB PS3 slim that I just bought, and it freezes every day. I admit that since it's vacation and I play at least 12 hours a day without a break, but still... what do you recommend I do?

Maybe you don't have enough memory because below 20 GB it gets worse; if you have music, demos or that kind of stuff, delete them.

Please help me, especially since I love the campaign of this game.
