Playstation 2 red light

Question

Good evening everyone, So here's my problem: for the past 4 days now, my PlayStation 2 turns off by itself after about 35 minutes of playing. Let me explain how it goes:
1. I turn on my PS2
2. 35~1 hour of playtime
3. My PS2 turns off by itself and the red light is flashing, and that's what I don't understand.
Why is it flashing and why does it restart? By the way, I’ve had my PS2 for 2 years now...

Hello, my PS2 has a steady red light; when I press it, it turns green for 1 second and then goes back to red. What could it be?

maybe your button is stuck or something like that does it happen with the same game or with all games it might be your game

Me too, there's a red dot that flashes and causes the console to shut down after 15 minutes of gameplay, and it's happening with every game. How can I fix it???

Salut à tous, j'ai un problème avec ma PS2. Alors voilà, lorsque j'allume ma PS2, ça fait tourner le jeu mais ça n'affiche rien. Je l'ai dévissée pour voir mais je ne vois pas le problème et depuis, le voyant rouge n'apparaît pas. Qu'est-ce que je dois faire ? :(
