Keyboard issue (Sony Vaio laptop)

Hello,

I’m coming to this forum to seek help, I’m currently facing a problem that makes my laptop completely unusable. Suddenly, the keyboard started to act completely crazy; at first I thought it was due to a shortcut being activated, but nothing worked. I checked for viruses, nothing unusual, I switched user accounts, same problem, I did a system restore to a previous point, but the issue persists.

In short, when I type a "g," it shows "-aetgio," the shift key is equivalent to a fn + F4 (volume), tab launches an F1.
Basically, it's a mess... but the virtual keyboard works fine.

Do you have any ideas?
I’m using Windows XP, Avast antivirus.

Thank you in advance for your help
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.14

To solve your problem, you need to unlock the keyboard keys by pressing fn + insert button, and for some other computers, it's fn + f11.

Well... it's completely the same for me! I know, it annoys everyone just like me, but hey, it's an Azerty keyboard, I think that's normal...
