    I have a Magellan 1200 GPS, and I would like to update it. How should I proceed, and where can I find the link?

      You go to the Magellan website http://www.magellangps.com/support/notes.asp?supportID=586 where you can download update 2.03 and everything is explained there

      p.s: I did it yesterday and it works
      Don't forget to press the reset button on your GPS

        I bought a Magellan Roadmate 1200 but I can't find the SD card (probably formatted by someone well-meaning)...
        Do you still have your SD card for France?
        If so, how could we get a copy?

      I think I'm going to Germany this summer and since I still haven't found a way to get the European map... yet it must exist... they mention it on the Magellan site as the possibility of adding maps... anyway... so your Germany-Austria-Switzerland map interests me... and if you still haven't managed to find the France map... I have it... like the radar update (from 04/15/08).

      Indeed, it's impossible to find an update. It's SHAMEFUL!!!!!!!!!!
      MAGELLAN: BIG CRAP!!! You buy a device that will only serve you for a maximum of 2 years, after which the manufacturer forces you to buy a new one by simply removing the updates. And on top of that, those that are available for other models are paid and at outrageous prices. Just a year ago, I was able to perform a free update for my device. And then, they come and talk to you about ecology, when at the same time they force you to buy more and fill the pockets of these thieves.

      Magellan devices are crap for me. It's impossible to find free updates. I myself have a Magellan Roadmate 6000T that I bought for €600. If you have the answer, please give it to me, thank you.

      Here in Canada, they charge $80 for an update. As if the devices aren't expensive enough already. Garmin, next time!!!

      n buy anymore it's GPS there are no more updates available. I'm going to change mine it's from 2008 I have never had any updates available as of today it is obsolete anyway TERMINATE MAGELLAN

    It’s incredible but my Magellan RoadMate 1200 France was delivered with the wrong map... Could someone help me retrieve the map of France? It would be really nice of you because as it stands, it’s not very useful to me...
