Hello,
I would like to know how to make a friend invisible to others on Facebook?

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

In fact, you need to go to the privacy settings, and at the top of the page, go to the section titled "Contacting on Facebook." By clicking on "show settings," all you need to do on the next page is select "only me" in the "see friends list" section.

You can't make a friend invisible to others unless you remove the acceptance of the friend request from the mini history. Otherwise, he should only be searchable by his friends; he will then be invisible in your friends list to your other friends.

Uh, it's normal because you are one of their 30 friends and they aren't going to mark you as their friend; it would be pointless for you to see it =S

Hi, did you get a response to your question? I noticed the same thing, one of my friends has 33 friends but when I click on his friends there are only 32, and I'm one of them... Do you think he is hiding one? Thanks for your reply.

Hi cutie, all you need to do is click on the privacy section at the top right on Facebook, then go to the search section and in the how others contact you section, uncheck the box to see friend list.

When I created my account, I cleaned up the privacy page. I unchecked everything and set my visibility to "Only my friends." I did tests with a friend and it worked very well.

I noticed the other day that it no longer works; people can see my profile and my friends and see me in my friends list.

I don't understand why! Does anyone have an idea? Is it because I created a group that I can no longer really be hidden?

Set your privacy settings because with just Google, typing in your name can reveal your friends list and sometimes your information. It's the default setting; you need to remove almost everything and only make it visible to my friends.

Just go to your profile, go to the left column and click on the little brush icon next to "Friends" and uncheck "Show my friend list to everyone."

How can I hide my friends list from my profile?
There are two ways to hide your friends list on your profile:

1. From the Privacy Settings page
Follow the link to View Settings in the Basic Information section of the Privacy Settings page. Adjust the setting to see my friends list.

There is no Basic Information section on the Privacy Settings page, so I cannot adjust the setting to see my friends list.

2. From your profile
Click on the pencil icon at the top right of the Friends box displayed on your profile.

Click on Change Visibility Settings.

Change Visibility Settings does not exist on my page... I only have:

Show my friends list to everyone
Note: your friends and you can see your friends list

I would like my friends list to be completely invisible to both friends and non-friends.
