How to avoid receiving messages from strangers on Facebook?

Hello,

I have a little issue with my Facebook account. Actually, I would like to prevent people who are not my friends from sending me messages. Is that possible? If so, how? I haven't found it in the settings yet.

    You need to set "Who can send me messages on Facebook" as well as the other parameters as shown in the image: Prevent people from sending me messages on facebook

      I would like to correct what was said. It is no longer possible to restrict messages on Messenger except for those who activated it when the option was available. Who knows why, and it's really a shame.
