Hello,
hello everyone, my request may seem silly or even illogical, but I would like to know how to temporarily disable a PC without damaging the hardware, thank you 
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.13

    It's not about a settlement of accounts; organ no fool got it right, but I'm going on a trip, and I know that if I leave even with the cable, my brother will use it, and I'll have to reformat it upon my return to reinstall. I'd rather break it myself and know how to do it; that's what I did. If I wanted to take revenge, I'd just stick two magnets on the hard drive or break some solder connections, but since it's to protect my PC, that's it.

    Hello,
    You go into the BIOS and disable the hard drives. This way, no booting is possible... unless your brother has some knowledge of it!!

    In the worst case, you can always set a password at the BIOS level. However, make sure to remember it!!!
