Hello,
I have a serious problem: when I log into my Windows XP session, it starts to open and disconnects almost immediately.
In safe mode: Same thing. However, I have an administrator account that appears and asks me for a password. But when I created my Windows session, I never had to enter or create an administrator password.
Why is it asking me for a password? How can I bypass it?
The computer in question was purchased last year, it’s a Packard Bell. And I just realized it came with a Windows reinstallation CD. (I didn’t know that before, I just found out)
I also didn’t know that I needed to make a backup CD.
I have another PC (a Dell laptop) that does have a Windows XP CD.
What I would like to know is if it is possible to restart the Packard Bell using the Windows CD from the Dell PC? Is that dangerous?
Otherwise, is there a way to obtain a Windows XP CD?
I burned a CD called “Ultimate Boot CD” but I’m not sure what I should check when the PC reboots from it.
Otherwise, is there another way for me to restart my PC without having to format it?
Thank you in advance for your advice.

If you are the owner of the PC, you should be able to find software that installs from a CD and allows you to see all the identifiers of the computer.
I'm not giving you the link, hoping you understand the reason. (So that someone with malicious intent doesn't use it.)
This is legal if you are the owner of the PC.

Hello, here’s a simple method if it works on your system
on the administrator and password dialog box.
Type ADMINISTRATOR in uppercase in the administrator box, then leave the password box empty and confirm by pressing the enter key. If it really works, let me know. Good luck! Cheers!

Good evening - if you have screen freezes and automatic restarts, I had that issue and had to reinstall the system - are you running XP or something else?
My Windows sessions are locked and the SAM file is read-only. I cannot unlock my password. Does anyone have any ideas?
I also have a Packard Bell.
I have a problem with NTDLR.
To solve the problem, I inserted the Windows installation CD and proceeded with a repair.
The issue is that it asks me for the administrator password (which I do not know).
What should I do to solve my problem?
Can I use a password reset CD even if NTDLR is missing?
Help me, I am desperate; I do not want to lose my data.

I just realized that my accounts are blocked
is there a way to unlock them, is there a way to access a DOS window?
and What I would like to know is whether it is possible to restart the Packard Bell with the Windows CD from the Dell PC? Or is it dangerous?

Yes, it's true, I didn't explain myself well. Unable to log into my session (blocked), I downloaded the software "ultimate boot cd" and rebooted the PC using a CD burned with this software, and that's how I saw that my account was blocked. With Ultimate, I have the ability to unlock this password, but I can't save this modification to the hard drive.
So I have a message telling me that the file I want to modify is read-only.
I cannot change the status of my account.
I used another software "ikki boot," but the same problem.
I would like to know how to make this file "read-write"?

Hello,
I have the same problem, can't log in.
I know my password but as soon as I connect it automatically logs me out, safe mode is the same.
-Unfortunately, the F11 key does nothing on my PC and therefore does not solve my problem.
For those who, like me, have not resolved this issue,
There is still an open discussion on this topic:
