Hello,
I am working in InDesign CS3 to create a brochure, and in Illustrator to create the graphic elements for this brochure (I am much more comfortable in Illustrator, and I only want to use InDesign for the document layout). I would like to directly import my images created in Illustrator into my InDesign document, but when I use the import function, the software pixelates my image, making it unreadable! However, from what I have read, InDesign supports the native format of Illustrator...
Does anyone know the process to preserve the Illustrator paths in InDesign?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
When you import an .ai or .eps into InDesign, remember to display the import options (a small checkbox at the bottom of the [Import] window).
The transfer of objects from Illustrator can differ when pasting versus importing (in that case, you need to manage your clipboard).
Indeed, InDesign allows for reworking the .ai, but that's not what it does best...

So that I don't lose any information and without InDesign pixelating all my work!
Thank you for your responses.
