Projector that turns off. BENQ

Hello,
I have a Benq projector.
I use it very often to conduct classes. What is quite surprising is that with certain clients, it goes into safety mode after 2 minutes... (overheating). It can work perfectly for 4 weeks and then suddenly turn off. The heat has nothing to do with it because I tested it this morning in a room at 16° and it turned off. So I changed the power outlet and it worked normally.
Each time, I make sure it is not completely flat against the table by using the provided legs...
The bulb has only 200 hours of use.
Can someone tell me the cause of this problem?
Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Do you use a composite or a VGA?

I don't see the difference... However, this morning I turned it on without connecting it to a PC.
I have a regular cable (like a screen) that connects from my laptop to the video.

In that case, I don't see the problem with automatic sleep mode.

What I forgot to tell you is that I plugged it into my laptop first. Then it shut down. After that, I tried it without the laptop.
I then changed the power outlet. And that's when it started working again... It's worth noting that before it was plugged into a power strip with other devices connected. Do you understand anything??? It's strange...

In that case, it's probably due to an overload of the power strip, that's why I didn't understand anything on the hardware side between the PC and the projector. I'm glad I tried to help you.

Indeed, the problem does come from an overload. I tested it. When I plug it directly into a socket, everything works perfectly... Thank you for your help.
