How to set utorrent to french?

Hello,
how to set uTorrent to French? I have the pack in English but I don't understand.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

    You put the .lng file in the "utorrent" folder in "Program files"... The next time you start µtorrent, it will be in French...

    Hello everyone!
    As I said on another forum:

    1°You download uTorrent ( https://www.utorrent.com/ ).
    2°You install uTorrent. [It should automatically create a folder (C:\Program Files\uTorrent)].
    3°You download the French Patch ( http://www.utorrent.com/scripts/dl.php?build=8179­ ).
    4°You place utorrent.lng (the French patch you just downloaded) in the directory C:\Program Files\uTorrent.
    5°Finally, you launch uTorrent and normally, if you followed these steps correctly, it will be in French :) .

    For Vista, there is still no French patch available. I'm sorry...
    If you have any other questions, I might be able to help you.

      4° Place utorrent.lng ( the French patch you just downloaded ) in the C:\Program Files\uTorrent directory.
      5° Finally, launch uTorrent and normally, if you followed these steps correctly, it should be in French :) .

      Fix: 1° Download µTorrent from the specified address... 2° Also download at the same time the languages pack "utorrent.lng" in the same destination directory... 3° Install µTorrent, the .lng gets installed at the same time. 4° Start µTorrent, it will be in French...

    I also have a problem with uTorrent French;
    I have correctly installed the language pack in uTorrent.
    When I open uTorrent, I choose the French language, apply and ok;
    but the problem is that it doesn't apply;
    what should I do,

      Good evening

      I see only one solution: re-download the language pack from the µtorrent site: https://www.utorrent.com/downloads (click on "Download" next to "µTorrent 1.7.6 build 7859")

      And start the operation again, stop µtorrent, place the utorrent.lng file in the "utorrent" folder in "Program files", then restart µtorrent.

      Normally, that should work.

    Despite my attempts, I can't get uTorrent to display in French. When I go to the language pack and click on download, a blank page appears and nothing else happens. What else should I do?

    Hi everyone, so here it is, my problem isn't that I can't set uTorrent to French, I don't think I'll have any issues there. My problem is that, actually, I don't have a uTorrent folder in Program Files! LOL, I know it sounds weird, strange… but I don't have a uTorrent folder in Program Files, nor anywhere else, I just have uTorrent (the software) and a "download" folder in my documents. PLEASE HELP ME! Thanks in advance! Kisses

      you need a utorrent directory under program files
      in this directory you should have utorrent.exe
      download the language pack (address provided earlier by scarface)
      place the file in the same directory as utorrent.exe
      and if necessary rename the file.php to utorrent.lng

      restart utorrent and it should be in French

    To have uTorrent in French, download the patch named:
    microtorrent_patch_francais_francais_18245.lng

    Once downloaded, rename this file to:
    utorrent.lng

    There you go. All that's left to do is to place the file utorrent.lng in the folder C:\Program Files\uTorrent
    (normal installation folder)

    Launch uTorrent, it is now in French... :)

    PS: If it is still not in French, go to:
    Options/Preferences/General... and in language choose French...
    Apply/ then OK...
    Restart uTorrent... It is in French now....
