Hello,
It's been some time since I signed up for Free's free offer, the free access to the site, to create my personal page. I've always hesitated to do it because the paper I received from this provider intrigues me...
"Welcome to Free!
Your registration request has been successfully recorded.
Free: free internet access, at the cost of a local telephone communication (1), without subscription, without extra charges, or time limits!
Your details [...]
To manually configure your computer, the information below will be necessary:
[...]
(1): provided that you connect from a landline located in mainland France, Corsica included."
Honestly... I'm wondering if it's really free or not. And if it's only charged if I do the requested configuration? Because the low speed... I couldn't care less. I just want to create my site on Free...
Is it free or not? If I only go to the site free.fr?
Thanks in advance =)

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0
But I connect with a high-speed connection from another operator and use my Free credentials to access my Free email, my Free personal pages, etc... all at high speed.
So, yes, it's free at low speed but you pay for your phone call
or you pay for another high-speed subscription. And if you want to have another email address or use Free just to have personal pages (website), you can take the free low-speed option and use it by connecting with your high-speed operator.
