Hello

During my visit to Free, I couldn't get 3G, so I tried changing some settings on the phone. My 3G issue is resolved but now I can't send SMS anymore...

I had to change the SMSC, can someone please give me the correct one?

Phone: Motorola Defy running Android

I managed to solve this problem today, all you need to do is change the SMS service number which is +330695000695, you should check if this number is correct by dialing *#5005*7672# and then call, and a message will be sent with this number and Free has set it up with the Orange service number which is +330689004000. To change it, you simply need to dial *#5005*7672*0695000695# and then call.

Good luck, hoping this helps you :)

cool, the simplest way is to open the SMS app (generic) and click left then select settings and confirm that the message center is indeed this number otherwise modify it... +33695000695
the proposed code did not work for me on the Galaxy S2 with the error message USSD code: invalid MMI
I also tried the code 4636 I don't remember what and it modified it... but badly!
I hope this can help someone!!
