They are not exactly salespeople! They are (and my words are chosen carefully) organizations or companies that can be of the type: debt collection, following a commercial action for which you are potentially (and not legally) responsible; they are tasked with spying on you to better harass you in order to recover what they call a debt. Because No One Is Supposed to Ignore the Law; BUT No One Is Supposed to Disguise the Law!!!! The method of using an unrecognizable phone number like 000000 or 0????? is typical of the illegality of the matter; by these facts, you are in the very realm of harassment and invasion of privacy.

It is also possible that this comes from a platform; some use a special number (0800654321) that allows them to go directly to voicemail.

I was getting a call from 0000 every 10 minutes, and when I answered, no one was there, and it hung up after 3 seconds. I got fed up and finally answered, "POLICE, HOW CAN I HELP YOU!"
