Identify an anonymous call on a landline phone Solved/Closed

Hello,

I've recently been receiving anonymous calls on my landline. They call and no one speaks... Of course, I hang up and it's impossible to identify the number! How can I find out? If anyone has a solution, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I have the same problem as you, so I went to France Telecom because there is a secret stop. The problem is that I'm with Neuf, so I went on my account and blocked secret calls *82hash. The person who calls secretly gets a message asking to call back with the number displayed. I'm relieved because the stress is over.

It’s often calls for sales or phone surveys ;)
I think the person on the other end must be calling 4 or 5 numbers at the same time, and taking the first one who answers, so that’s why there’s no one on the line.

Everyone has their own system to avoid unwanted calls.

As for me, I keep the answering machine on all the time, and I only pick up or call back when I recognize the number. Otherwise, ...deleted ... they eventually get tired of calling a machine all the time.

Silent calls: it rings, you pick up, there’s nobody on the line, and it hangs up. These are robocalls that check if the number is valid, so they can later initiate a sales call.
The trick: if you stay away for a few days... unplug the phone... the robocaller will identify that the line doesn’t connect and remove the number from their lists.
