Hello,
When I turn on my PC, a "no disk" window appears with "exception processing message 0x0000013 parameters 0x75C7023C 0x8363E86C 075C7023C 0x75C7023C" written on it. I have to wait for the PC to finish loading before I can close it. Can someone please enlighten me about this message and provide a solution?
Thank you in advance,
lili011

Hello to you lili011, I just realized that I had the same problem as you, except that I don't have the mention 0x8363E86C but 0x8719974C.
I'm not very knowledgeable but I will try to do some research. Let's stay strong.
Same config.

Hi
The message you received is an error message from Vista
I looked it up on Google and apparently some guys managed to solve the problem by doing a system restore to a previous date.
Everything is explained here for doing the restore

I just did a system restore and it didn't work. Upon restarting the machine, a dialog box opens with the message: "System restore could not be completed. The settings and system files on your computer have not been changed. Detail: 1 unspecified error occurred during the system restore. Try running the system restore again and choose a different restore point. For more information, see: system restore, frequently asked questions.

Additionally, the message "Windows - no disk" has changed! It now says: Exception processing message 0x0000013 parameters 0x75BA023C 0x8363AE2C 0x75BA023C 0x75BA023C

Re,
I just went to the page you mentioned. Unfortunately, it doesn't solve my problem!

I was thinking of reinstalling the computer to factory settings. What would happen if I did that? What would be the consequences? Would everything start normally again or would I still have the same errors? I think I would lose folders, files, and software installed later, but that’s okay since there isn’t much yet and therefore nothing very important. The only photos I might have were burned to CD-R and copied to a USB drive.

Thank you ...

Oh, I almost forgot... QuickTime still shows up in the programs after uninstallation. Is that normal? What should I do to make it disappear completely?

Hi Lili,
I'm sorry my suggestions didn't help solve your problem.
If you do a reinstallation, as you mentioned, you will lose everything. As long as you've backed up everything important on your CD, you can reinstall everything. You'll just lose your programs.
If QuickTime appears in the list of programs, try clicking on it. Since it won't find the associated uninstall program, it will offer to remove it from the list.
But if you plan to reinstall everything, I think this step is unnecessary.

Have you already proceeded with a reinstallation?
Don't forget to set your CD drive as the first in the boot order.
Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions.
Good luck!

Thank you Lazkike for helping me. I haven't made any progress, but I'm doing everything possible to...
I thought of something. The messages I've received say "Windows no disk exception processing...". Could this be related to the installation of one of the software programs after the initial setup of the machine? I installed the following software:

- Kodak EasyShare (which I have since uninstalled), by the way, I can't get rid of the QuickTime icon that still appears in my programs;
- Picture Package;
- PhotoFiltre;
- Parental control (yes, I'm a mom! Hehe);
- An MP3 software: USB Disk Win98 driver;
- And a Polaroid ION80 camera (I think).

Anyway, if you or someone else can answer this, thank you in advance...

For software, it might be possible
but I'm not tech-savvy enough to be sure of the origin of the problem
If someone could give their opinion ????? (Open question :))
otherwise I found (maybe) another solution on the Microsoft site
it’s worth a try here
Do you occasionally clean your registry with CCleaner?
You have a well-explained tutorial here CCleaner
This can improve certain issues, and you can remove the unnecessary Quick Time link
Good luck

Thank you Lazkike,
I'll take a look as soon as possible. However, since yesterday, I've noticed something. I have a startup program that's stuck and no more messages! I wonder if the blocked software has something to do with it. I'll go ahead and uninstall it, and I'll come back to give the result.
Thanks again for your help,
Lili

Hello,

I downloaded CCleaner but nothing works! I still disabled everything, or almost everything because there's one that I can't uncheck, the QuickTime functions, and upon restarting, there’s no "Exception ..." message but it is still present in my programs, and when I request the uninstallation, the following message appears:

“Removing QuickTime extensions may cause application malfunctions. Click uninstall to remove the applications provided with QuickTime or click uninstall all to also remove the system extensions (not recommended)”

What do you advise? If I click on uninstall all, is my computer really at risk of functioning worse even if it’s a program installed afterwards? If anyone has been in this situation, I would appreciate it if you could let me know!

The software I was thinking of has been uninstalled and nothing has changed. I still believe that QuickTime is responsible for the issues I'm experiencing!

Thank you for your help,

Lili

P.S.: According to the Windows Defender software explorer, QuickTime is not included in the operating system.

Hello,

for your information: I restarted my machine in safe mode to delete QuickTime from C:\program files and C:\windows\system32. Since then, the "Exception..." message no longer appears on startup. However, the following folders remain in C:\windows\system32 that I haven't dared to delete due to their dates:

Quick.ime 02/11/2006 10:39 IME file 122KB
Quicktime.cpl 08/10/2003 13:07 control panel item 309KB
QuicktimeCheck.ocx 08/10/2003 13:07 ActiveX Control 57KB
QuickTimeMusicalInstruments 08/10/2003 13:07 QuickTimeExtension 1970KB
QuickTimeVR 08/10/2003 13:07 QuickTimeExtension 401KB
QUTIL.DLL 02/11/2006 10:46 application extension 77KB
qwave.dll 02/11/2006 13:34 application extension 237KB

Can you tell me more?
I also uninstalled 4 out of 6 programs installed after the first start-up of the computer.
Thank you for your help.
See you later,
Lili

Yes, this is due to QuickTime. You need to disable it, or even uninstall it.
It messes up the PC that is looking for a player that is not installed.

Solution: uninstall the players.
Stop. Restart. The PC will automatically reinstall all the players (CD, DVD, etc...)

Indeed, a restore to an earlier date works or doesn't work depending on the case.

Hello lili011,
apparently I have the same problem except that when I click on the Free PDF to Word icon, a converter, the message in question appears. When I uninstall said program, the message no longer reappears. So, in my humble opinion, the problem must come from a recently installed program; try to uninstall them one by one and each time check if the message appears or not. I'm still searching. I'm sorry I can't offer you much. Good luck.
