Problem with Walkman NWZ-S616F

Hello,
I bought a Sony mp3 player model NWZ-S616F and I connected it to a computer, but it gets stuck on the screen with the Walkman logo and the phrase "every moment has its music." I disconnected it and then reconnected it and tried many things but it doesn't work. I tried to format it by pressing reset, but it remains stuck.

    Hi, it happened to me too, and all you need to do is leave your MP4 on with the phrase written "every..." until the battery runs out, and it works.

    I have the same problem, and no matter what I do (pressing the small hole with a needle), it doesn't work. )=
    But I saw that on my mp4 there are 2 holes, which one should I press? =s

    On the left side of your device at the top, there is a button that locks the device; put it in the down position to set the device to receive mode. If this button is not open, nothing happens.
    I have the same one for two months and I am very satisfied: easy to use!

    I found the solution to watch videos. Download Prism Video Converter. It's free and set the image format to convert to 320/240 and mp4. Once your video is converted, just copy and paste it into "videos" in one of the folders of the Sony Walkman.

    Hello everyone!

    I have the same problem, my Sony walkman is stuck on that damn phrase and I still don't know what to do (I've pressed reset more than 20 times out of frustration and letting the battery drain doesn't solve the problem...)
    Does anyone have any updates since?

    I experienced the same thing, and I think the battery completely drained instantly... I recharged it, and it started working again... good luck.

    your mp3 must be stuck, you need to reboot it, look closely there should be a hole (don't confuse it with the microphone) and you insert a metal needle (no breakable materials!!) to press a reboot button, check your mp3 player’s manual to find out where it is…

    I did it and it works.

    TO HAVE VIDEOS ON THE WALKMAN, YOU NEED TO CONVERT THEM TO MP4 FORMAT AVC 320X240 AAC AND THAT'S IT. I HAD THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE IT MENTIONS WINDOWS PLAYER, BUT THAT'S NOT TRUE, IT DOESN'T WORK WITH THAT. YOU DOWNLOAD FORMAT FACTORY FROM THE WEBSITE TELECHARGER.COM AND THERE YOU GO.

    Sorry to bring up an old discussion, but I have exactly the same problem and I can't find a solution!
    Pressing the "reset" button or letting the battery run out doesn't change anything! When I plug it in, it just shows the same image and the same message "every moment has its music"... except that it no longer charges! Even if I leave it plugged in for an hour or more, it doesn't turn on and tells me "low battery please recharge"...
    If anyone has a solution... especially since I just bought it and I'm not sure it's under warranty...

      I had this a long time ago. My technique is as follows:
      unplug your MP3 player, then plug it back in and wait for it to turn on; normally, this works.
      But the best solution is to buy a type of adapter where you can plug in a USB, and since I started doing that, I have had no more problems! So this adapter allows you to charge the MP3 player without any issues and without needing a computer!
