music download issue on MP3

Question

Hello, I just bought a NEO MP3 player (Simply Key 256MB) and there is no user manual, just a small CD-ROM 'MP3 PLAYER Driver' and I don't know how to download music from CDs to my computer, then to the player because I can't install this software. My computer doesn't detect it. However, they are compatible (Windows 98). I would appreciate it if you could guide me on how to install it, that would be a great help... Thank you in advance.

Hello
insert your cdmp3 driver
through the explorer search for "setup" or "install"
restart the pc
connect the player
new hardware detected
auto search
and there you go it should work

for mp3 cds

it allows you to encode your cds to mp3 on the disk
then to put them on the USB stick you just copy and paste from your folder c:/my music to removable drive

Maybe it's because I need to update Windows? (mp3 compatible with Windows 98 SE/ME, so is it possible that I have a different version??)
What is an UHCD update? Can I perform it without risk?

Okay, I just found 'Install' and I'm wondering which program to install, I select search then the CD drive and 'Unable to find the file D:\PROGRAM.exe' so what should I do? Is there a specific file to open?

I think I managed to install the driver because it now appears in the programs MP3 PLAYER Utilities 1.43, so thank you very much!!!

But I downloaded Windows Media Player and it can't play CDs, "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with the audio device. Your computer may not have an audio device, it may be used by another program, or it may not be functioning correctly."
Yet I can play CDs with the basic CD player, so the audio device is working! I don't understand what's wrong!!

Thomas, I had the same problem, follow xdoudoux's advice and it will work (for the research phase with the explorer good luck because it's long, open every file until you find the right one...)

So it's been over 3 hours that I've been struggling with my MP3 to put music on it, but it's impossible!
I've read and tried to do everything you said before, but I haven't succeeded.
My computer is also recent and compatible with my MP3 (mpF700), however, the CD sold with it doesn't work, or rather it's because now all the CDs I put in can't be read. As for the MP3, it says there's no device detected even though it's definitely connected!
Could someone please tell me how to do this because I admit I'm at my wit's end, it's driving me crazy!!
