The ".TMP" extension is just used by Windows to catalog temporary files. In fact, the file retains its original typing. The moral is: if you know the original type, you just need to rename the file "xxx.TMP" to "xxx.mP3", "xxx.avi", etc.

Hello,
sorry to bring up an old topic, but I would like to know how to determine the "initial type." I'm trying to retrieve a video hosted on Dailymotion (so I would go for .flv), but I have no certainty about it.
Then, for videos hosted on Megavideo, I can't find the right extension.

Well, to see the file type, for example videos or something like .avi or .flv, whichever you want to check if that's the case!... Tools then View then File Types to make them appear!
