Hello, you should try to update with Windows Update which will automatically detect your problems or else download a converter to read audio files like Power DVD, Intervideo, ...
There are plenty like that, it installs drivers for your graphics card automatically and there you go, it should normally work

PS: with your CD player there was probably a CD (Power DVD or another), try to install it; otherwise go to www.telecharger01.com

To read MP4 files, I haven't found anything better than the fantastic Media Player Classic (nothing to do with Microsoft's Windows Media Player).

Google "Media Player Classic" to download and install it. For maximum performance, also download two super codecs that play just about any audio-video file, here they are:
1: Haali splitter (https://www.free-codecs.com/download/haali_matroska_splitter.htm
2: ffdshow (https://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow/

With Media Player Classic and the two codecs above, I assure you that you will NEVER need anything else to watch MP4 files!

Bonjour, j'ai déjà écrit et j'ai eu une réponse, mais cette fois, c'est plus compliqué... Je peux la lire, mais maintenant je voudrais la graver et me faire des chapitres, et je ne sais même pas par où commencer... J'ai énormément lu sur des forums et j'ai téléchargé plus de cinq convertisseurs qui n'ont jamais fonctionné pour ce que je voulais... Est-ce possible d'avoir un programme qui fait tout et qui est gratuit ? Non, sérieux, je voudrais un convertisseur pour des chansons dans des formats bizarres comme (.flac)... J'utilise VLC media pour les lire, mais je trouve ça ennuyeux d'avoir trois programmes pour lire ou voir une vidéo... Il n'y a pas un programme qui peut tout lire ou un programme qui peut tout convertir pour que Windows Media Player marche... Et encore autre chose... J'ai des chansons en mp3 et d'autres en mp3... Et oui, la même chose, mais mon Windows Media Player ne les lit pas et me dit qu'il me faut un codec que j'ai fouillé d'arrache-pied et que, encore là, j'ai téléchargé plein de ****... Désolé, mais c'est frustrant à la longue. Mais j'ai tout essayé... Je veux de quoi de simple qui réglerait tous mes problèmes...
