It's absolutely shameful. These crooks are pathetic amateurs, their scam is so poorly done that it makes me want to vomit... just to prolong the pleasure of ridiculing them, I sent photocopies of my passport and my bank account number.

I think, given all the messages I've received, I MUST BE AS RICH AS BILL GATES.

WARNING SCAM.....SCAM...............SCAM.

BEWARE of these little A-HOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Instead of working, they want to squeeze money from the poor and naive. It's just absolutely mediocre.

Oh yes! And it's still going on! They really take us for fools! I received congratulations from the "English lottery"! LOL! They can wait a long time!
And we also receive requests for help for a widow who supposedly has 4 young children (from 7 months to 5 years old) from Nigeria! And please with a photo of a young woman and a young boy who are way too bright, way too smiling, and way too happy to be in distress! It's obvious that it's more than just a scam!
Let's not be fooled anymore...

<Hello everyone! I think I fell for it but with a feeling of a fake lottery. The problem is that my mother received it by mail, so I filled in the requested information: name, first name, bank name, etc., and then requested that they send me the filled document by fax. After I faxed it, they called back the next day and asked me to contact the bank that issued the winnings to get a certificate of authenticity, but I have to pay 900 euros to claim the lottery prize. It started to seem more and more strange because I also have to call Spain, and the guy on the phone can barely string two words together in French and is really rude. So I didn’t call back or send the 900 euros. Now I hope my mother won’t have any problems with the bank or the mail. Actually, I don’t know what to do anymore. How do I tell her that I messed up? Thank you for shedding some light on this because I was thinking of replying to see how far they would take the joke...>

I created a list of email addresses of these scammers; as a reference since they change all the time.. I even unmasked one who told me to leave him alone because I was constantly harassing him with provocative emails calling him a crook; it was stronger than him, he couldn't help but respond to me, and with his email address I even managed to get his photo and location through social networks (netlog, facebook) and also professional (linkedin) which shows that they are present everywhere looking for potential "suckers" to scam..
Here is the list:
"Glory Yusuf" <yuglory23@yahoo.com>, "rev.jb1948@yahoo.com" <rev.jb1948@yahoo.com>, "Maître Roland FICHET" <maitre.fichetroland@yahoo.fr>, "brigittebruinier@yahoo.com" <brigittebruinier@yahoo.com>, "joy4baby373@yahoo.com" <joy4baby373@yahoo.com>, "nemaflorence@yahoo.fr" <nemaflorence@yahoo.fr>, "yenregistrement@yahoo.fr" <yenregistrement@yahoo.fr>, "internaute_direction@yahoo.co.id" <internaute_direction@yahoo.co.id>

Hi everyone,
I received the same email tonight. The most troubling thing is that it says in the email to come and collect the amount. But we don't know where. So I sent an email asking where to physically collect the amount; we'll see. I want to file a complaint, but I'm afraid of being seen as foolish. Should I go to the police station in my neighborhood?
Anyway, it annoys me to see this kind of email.

Hello,

I received an identical message, but I had a phone number.
So I called to find out more... I ended up speaking to a guy with an English accent, but who spoke French very, very well.
But I don’t know, I found it weird.
He had a very pronounced accent, but I couldn’t explain it.
He spoke with an English accent, but it didn’t seem natural, maybe I’m just imagining things...
Anyway, he told me that I had won €150,000, that I would receive a message from them, and he went on with a whole long spiel, but he spoke very oddly, and I didn’t understand everything, he ended with congratulations and goodbye.
What I find very strange is that he didn’t talk to me as if we were just 6 winners, but as if he did this all day long.
As if I were just a person being scammed.
Anyway, I don’t believe a bit of it, and they can go take a hike.
The only thing that annoys me is not being rolling in cash, because I would have hired a damn lawyer and taken them to court.
Just to have a good laugh.
So please be careful.

A pigeon not yet plucked.

I received a message that made me laugh a lot. NOTICE TO ENTHUSIASTS

I, the undersigned Master CORTIS McCARTNEY, Supervising Bailiff of the special draw of the Euromillions E-lottery program of May 27, 2008.

Thus, in accordance with the provisions, regulations, and statutes governing this prestigious institution, I am contacting you to provide clarifications regarding the general conditions of your draw and to indicate the procedure for the delivery of your winnings. You are therefore required to read it carefully....

HOW WERE YOU CHOSEN IN THE DRAW?

In the notification that Ms. JUDITH HORNER, Executive Director of the RU Lottery Council, sent you, it was clearly stated the process by which you were chosen: Your email address linked to ticket number 5 012345678900 was drawn. You did not therefore enter directly and be aware that this is a first innovation in the history of our lottery. In accordance with Articles 43 and 49 of the European Treaty authorizing any national of the European Union to promote, provide, and benefit from a service (including lotteries and gambling). We hereby certify that you have indeed been designated as the winner of the draw: BTL/4910xi/06v group: 12/25/0360 and therefore beneficiary of the sum of €150,000 in the Euro millions E-Lottery UK.

II) CONTEXT INVOLVED

In accordance with the laws, statutes, and international rules concerning lotteries. We hereby declare that the information mentioned above is accurate and fundamental.

That the said funds do not come from the sale of hard drugs: namely cocaine, heroin, opium, or other related drugs (medications).

The aforementioned funds are not the result of money laundering, nor of economic sabotage or any other act classified as economic crime.

As mentioned, these funds are not of dubious origin and are the lottery's own funds used for the purposes of this promotion.

PROCEDURE

Given the numerous inconveniences that the Lotto Euromillions E-Lottery UK has experienced in the past, notably embezzlement, extorsion, and even outright diversion of funds allocated to the winners by unscrupulous individuals. The authorities of the Lotto Euromillions E-Lottery UK, in agreement with the 'Multi-Gains' E-Lottery Syndicate System and the affiliated bank authorities, have decided to modify the procedure for delivering funds to the winners.

1° The winner must, as soon as they are unable to come here to London, send all their references to the bailiff who supervised the ticket draw.

NB: This procedure only lasts 72 hours at most after the opening of your file, thank you for your understanding.
Please fill out this identification form after having also acknowledged the statutes and regulations and return it to us as soon as possible by email.

2° As soon as your winnings are certified, the supervising bailiff will introduce you to the affiliated bank responsible for delivering your winnings.

3° In accordance with the signed agreements, the affiliated bank will contact you regarding the delivery of your winnings.

NB: Since your email is the irrefutable proof that you are the winner of the sum of €150,000. Also, since we have several files to process, we inform you that it is preferable to send us all the necessary documents by email as scanned copies. Because sending them by fax or by post further complicates the procedure and does not seem very confidential and especially for the security of your various identity documents.

PS: For security reasons, we advise you to keep your winner information (reference of your winnings) confidential until the delivery of your winnings. This is part of precautionary measures to avoid cases of double claiming of winnings and the abusive use of this program by some unscrupulous individuals. The general conditions for obtaining having been clearly defined, we ask you once you have accepted not to cause any hindrance until the delivery of your winnings.... Therefore, given the particular nature of this lottery, we inform you that you are free to renounce your winnings by sending us a renunciation email.

You will find your winning ticket attached, so please fill it out and return the form found also in the annex of your winning ticket as soon as possible.

NB: This procedure only lasts 72 hours at most to receive your prize.
