Hello,

I recently got the Sims Castaways on DS, but I'm stuck at 20% of the game... I need to give the peppers to the cook but I have no way to do it! I have them with me, "give items" is also possible but as soon as I offer him the items, my character talks about bananas and fish (???) and the cook gets angry.... So there's nothing to do and I can't progress in the game!

Oh yes, I would like to know how to catch the green fish (which is caught in the sea, with a harpoon, during the day) that we need to exchange with the doctor, along with the scarabs I already have, to get the stick?

How do you build the knife?

    For the cook, I had the same problem, I solved it by giving him several times eggs as a gift and when he came back okay (green bar), I stopped giving him his chilies.

    Hi. I went through that too at first. In fact, when you go into your guide, use your stylus on the handshake icon and see what percentage you are at with the chef. If it's below 50%, it means you haven't visited him often to talk and he's sulking. To fix this, give him gifts that earn you social points. Once you get back to 50% or more, you can give him gifts.
    For the green fish, I catch it during the day on the beach where the SOS is. The knife is given to you by the chef when you give him a lime and a sardine.
    The sardine is caught with a harpoon and you need to grow the lime yourself.
    To grow it, you have to give the farmer everything she wants until she no longer needs you. At that point, when you put your stylus on the farmer, it will say exchange. Then you can finally exchange various items for fruit and vegetable seeds. To get a lime tree seed, you'll need to give her a pink murex (a shell found in the sea, so you'll have to dive to retrieve it).

      Actually, this happens to you because your social life gauge with the chef is below 50% and he refuses to talk to you.
      To get him to talk to you again, give him gifts like an egg, and as soon as your relationship with him is at 50% or more, give him the quest items. :)
