Hello, in The Sims 2: Castaway on DS:
I need to build a campfire for the cook, and for that, I need a metal pole, bamboo, and an axe. I have the axe, but I don't know where to find the rest, and I don't know how to make music with the student.

For the bamboo, you actually need to go see the farmer and do everything she asks, then once you’re done with her, you can exchange things, and among those things, she will have bamboo seeds.

When you have completed all the tasks with the student and also made music with her, she will give you the metallic mat. To play music, you blow while pressing the indicated letters. After that, though, I'm stuck too on improving the fire the second time.

The metallic mat is given to you by the female student after she does her mat (for her flag), gives the insects, etc. The green box is the one for the parachute. Then... the bamboo, is indeed given to you by the farmer. Finally, for the music, you need to make the instrument (the name escapes me...), give it to the female student and she offers to play it. For that, you blow into the microphone while pressing the requested keys. There you go, I hope I’m helping!
