Hello,
My "Invion" mp3 USB key is recognized by Windows Vista as a mobile device and under XP as "others" in the workstation.
I can no longer use my player as a USB key.
How can I make it recognized as a storage device?
Thank you for your help.....!

Hi,
Does your MP3 USB drive have a disk number (C drive, etc.)?
Can you transfer data to this drive (computer to drive) and can you acquire data from it (drive to computer)?
What kind of data can you transfer (in both directions)? Only music or any type of file?
I’m asking because it might still function the same way, even if it’s not recognized as a storage device.
See you!

Hi,
I managed to solve the problem, it was coming from Windows Media Player 11. By installing an older version of WMP, my USB drive was recognized as a storage device, and I was then able to format it completely (it was impossible when it was under "mobile devices"). Now, it appears under removable devices.
But since it's still under warranty, I think I'm going to exchange it, as it seems to have a compatibility issue with Vista and it bugs quite often.
Anyway, thanks for your help.
See you later.
