Hello everyone who deals with photos.
Some members may have needed to make the names of the different people in a group photo appear, either by clicking on them or by hovering over them. In any case, I had this problem in the past.
Thanks to issue No. 135 of Micro Pratique, page 15, I found very valuable advice that allowed me to develop a procedure to display the names of the characters when they are hovered over by the cursor.
If anyone is interested, I am more than willing to explain this method.

Hello, argixu!
With a bit of delay, for which I apologize, here is a “hover” display method.
In PowerPoint:
* 1) With the drawing tools (line or shapes) outline the area of the photo to be identified.
* 2) Apply to this shape the format No fill + No outline.
* 3) Execute Insert/Hyperlink/ScreenTip.
* 4) Enter the text to be displayed (the designation of this part of the photo).
* 5) Enter as Address #top (which will have no effect when clicking).
* 6) Validate, it's done.
When the slideshow is running, as soon as the cursor passes over the shape (which has become invisible), the text of the ScreenTip appears; it disappears when the cursor is no longer hovering over the shape.
In Excel:
* Same procedure; same results.
In Word:
* Same procedure. On hover, the ScreenTip contains, in addition to the text, the note “CTRL+click to follow the link”; when clicking, only the text remains.
I must remind you that this clever manipulation is not my own: I found it in issue No.135 of Micro Pratique; I only added instructions 1) and 2) to select a part of the document.

These tooltips are very easy to use and especially multifunctional. Tested on photos, images, and also on slides and flowcharts that we don't want to overload for better readability, they are very practical.

From Word, I would like to integrate the photo into an HTML editor for posting online.
There the tooltips disappear!
Any ideas? Or a way to do it in Kompozer?
