Schneider 665 recorder player

Hello,

I have a Schneider 665 recorder and sometimes I cannot read a DVD-RW that is reported as
Unknown disk type

However, I received this message and by persistently fiddling with all the buttons, I was able to read the DVD in question.
At the end of the playback, I erased everything on it and programmed a recording.
When I wanted to open this DVD, I got the same message again: Unknown disk type

Has anyone experienced this problem? I should mention that I am using Philips branded DVD-RWs in this case.
This is the second DVD that has caused me this inconvenience.

    some recorders
    only recognize DVD - or DVD +
    check your player’s manual to see if that’s the case

    OK, but the problem is that the same DVD was recognized before!!!!
    I used it, I erased it and reused it, and when I try to play it, it tells me that this type of disk is not recognized!!!

    And as I explained, I came with another DVD that played the same number... and it ended up reading it.

    Since then, I recorded on another DVD of the same type and brand, and it works (???!!!)

    A big mystery, this versatility of the player.

    Hello
    I have a Schneider 665 recorder player and I have identical problems
    I can no longer read and record, even though it was possible before (DVD+RW) ??
    Is it a settings issue?

    As far as I'm concerned, I had two DVD-RWs that caused me this inconvenience.
    At first, one of the two could be reused but eventually was no longer recognized, so I set aside both DVD-RWs.
    I didn’t receive any explanations that would allow me to put them back in use.
    They were Philips, yet I don’t understand.
    Perhaps we will have someone who can tell us what’s going on.

    Hello everyone,

    Well, after a few months of use, my Schneider disc reader/writer won't open its tray anymore. I get a Blooked message, and nothing works; I've unplugged the power cord, shut it down, restarted it, and it's always the same thing.

    However, I was able to read the DVD-RW that was inside at the time of the blockage.

    At Carrefour, they asked me for €40, which would be deducted from my bill if I had it repaired.

    However, it's a device that excited me more than satisfied me - no hard drive and a long wait for loading -
    so I've decided to upgrade to a higher range by getting a device that has a hard drive; I will have it by next Tuesday.

    I had some fun trying to open my stubborn device (some screws... inside) and I retrieved my DVD, but as for getting the tray to open, nothing works.

    So I put this device back in a box for now...
    Have a nice day everyone, and thanks if anyone has anything to add.

      Hello Vivie,

      I just saw your email and I'm going to check the box where I stored the player because it broke down - I could no longer open the drawer, I had to "disassemble" it to get a DVD that was inside - and I replaced it with a Samsung with a hard drive.
      I'll keep you posted. @ +

      I just realized that the submission I made for the second part might not be usable, so I'm resending it in the form of the first one.
      I noticed that after a few moments the image "shrinks" and it has a sort of colored arrow at the bottom right that you can click to retrieve text that can be scrolled with the scroll bars... I'm sorry, but for now I haven't found a way to send you this information differently. If you could enlighten me, I will try to do better...

      It's always the same thing, I think you need to click on the part after img.
