Hello, my name is Camille. I've lost the user manual for my Schneider SRV665 DVD player, and currently when I insert a DVD-RW, it doesn't recognize anything. So I would like to get some information and also know where I could find a user manual. Thank you for your help...

      Hello Tony, just to respond to you, I still haven't found the manual. I made a request at the store where I bought the recorder, and they couldn't find the manual for me. I also searched on websites and I could have downloaded the manual for a fee of 8 euros (I believe), but since I was waiting for a response from the store, I didn't do it. I think I went on the brand's website for the DVD player, I must have searched for "Schneider srv665 manual". And now I haven't gone back to check the website so I still don't have the manual. I wish you good luck in your search...

        Have you found the manual for the Schneider SRV 665 or not yet? I also have the same one that I bought second-hand from my daughter's friend, but he doesn't have the manual either. I am having a lot of trouble reading DVD-R and DVD-RW; it doesn't want to read them, it says: unsupported file. On another note, I would like to know if it records DVDs properly? I tried to find Schneider's website in France (on the internet) to ask them if we could get a manual, but I can't find anything. Could you help me clarify things?

        The DVD SRV665 only supports DVD+R and DVD+RW for burning.

    Hello.
    I have the manual.
    To get it, contact me at (ramos.jean-philippe@wanadoo.fr)
    But it is not necessary.
    This burner burns DVDs + (R and RW)
    and it reads everything more or less easily (except for DVDs burned on a PC)

    Sorry for the time taken. The sending of the notice is in progress. (My scanner is rather slow
    on the other hand, I flashed the chip and now it burns all the - and + and it shows super.)

    Have you unlocked your DVD player?
    My display has been saying "Blocked" since this morning.
    Audio CD inserted, functioning correctly, but unable to start.
    No issues in the manual, no power supply issues.
    Thank you if a solution has been found since September.

    No information in the notice, however after a prolonged "rest" of the DVD player, it worked normally the next day.
    Probable cause of the blockage, repeated access to the eject button, given the slowness of DVD recognition at startup.
    No solution except a complete reset... but it's lengthy.

    Hello, I managed to unlock it by pressing open and fiddling a bit with the DVD door, while I was struggling quite a bit. That might be a solution. Additionally, I am also looking for an update. I heard that you can use those from Philips?
