Hello,
I don't know if I'm in the right forum, but I'm sharing my problem here anyway.
I own a Philips DVDR 3320V DVD recorder.
Up until now, there have been no issues.
It has just frozen. That is, it seems to be powered on. The red power light is blinking, the two "direct dubbing" lights on the front are blinking simultaneously, as well as the "source" DVD light.
I cannot turn off the device, nor do anything with any buttons on the remote or the device itself. EVERYTHING IS FROZEN!!!!!
Does anyone have a solution?
(I don't know if I have a DVD inserted in the player).
Thank you for everything.

Hello...
Start by unplugging it for 1 hour, so it resets when you plug it back in..
Then, let us know...

Hello Poupougne 13.
I left my device unplugged for more than five hours. I plugged it back in... still the same problem!!!!!!-
Re...
Sorry, in that case, I honestly don't know...
I suppose it’s no longer under warranty, otherwise: direct customer service obviously...
When you unplugged it, did you also disconnect the antenna or the SCART connectors?
No button, even tiny and hidden behind or underneath...for a "reset"?
I wish you good luck with your attempts and searches; I'm "all in"...! ;(
Try posting on "www.cyberbricoleur.com," in the "appliances" forum; there are some good ones, but maybe not on August 15th!?
If you don't get a response, address it from time to time to bump the thread, even just by saying "Up"...
Best regards,
See you later -

Hello
I'm glad to have found someone who has exactly the same problem as I do, namely:
after a power outage lasting several hours, the indicators on the front panel are flashing (dubbing, source, and power) but no controls are working.
I unplugged it, plugged it back in, pressed the power button for 10 seconds to reset: nothing...
I hope you've found the solution since August 15... if you could share it with me?
Thanks in advance -
Hello, I also have the same problem with a PHILIPS HDD recorder model 5570 H 250GB
when I try to schedule a recording, it gets "stuck" and I can't make it restart, even after unplugging it and waiting several hours; the solution = I take it back to the seller, who plugs it in at his place, and without being able to explain to me why, it works again; however, I can only use it as a DVD player now, because as soon as I try to record, the same issue comes back; for a device that cost €399, it's a bit steep!!! My seller (a specialized local shop, whom I believe is well-meaning) is powerless, I think he believes I'm making mistakes, and at least for that, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one in this situation; I wonder if the problem is related to the reception via the aerial antenna?
In any case, if anyone has a solution, thank you for the help
Best regards to everyone
