[tnt]Toshiba LCD cannot find channels

Question

Hello,

I just bought a Toshiba LCD with a built-in TNT decoder, but when I switch the TV to DTV mode, the automatic search finds no channels, and the manual tells me to do an automatic search; however, I can't access the menu, so I'm unable to get TNT channels, which is quite annoying... Anyway, if someone could help me... Thanks!!

I also just bought a TOSHIBA LCD with built-in TNT and I have the same issue; when I do an automatic search, it does not detect the TNT channels. However, in my building, we have digital cable and the living room TV detects the TNT channels just fine, so I don’t understand how this is happening. Can someone tell me what I should do?

I bought an indoor antenna to be able to detect the TNT channels, but it still doesn't work.

I have a similar issue with a TOSHIBA 19W330DG just purchased. I was able to use the DTV automatic search menu correctly and now the menu refuses to return to the main settings menu. It loops on the channel search menu and finds none.
I haven't found any documentation yet to reset the LCD to its factory settings!

Hello

My problem was resolved when the TNT reception level was sufficient for the scan to continue. I am in an area that is not covered by TNT or rather irregularly covered.

I was considering moving to someone's place who receives TNT properly, but by chance, two days later, the issue was resolved.

Hello everyone,

I must say, I see that there are some problems with Toshiba LCD screens.
My television, Toshiba 32AV503D, cannot find all the channels of TNT (specifically, the channels from the France Télévisions group remain undetectable. As for the HD channels, it finds them but with no sound and no picture (just a black screen), only the subtitles are visible!

If someone has a solution to suggest, I'm all ears, as I've tried everything and nothing works.

Hello,  First, go take a look at the site ma.tnt.TDF to see if your town is served by the TNT.

Hello, I have a Regza 37" television. I'm experiencing the same problem as the people mentioned above, namely that the internal decoder of my LCD TV does not detect any digital channels (only analog ones).

In my municipality, analog reception will stop on March 29, and I risk not being able to watch TV anymore. My municipality is indeed covered:

From what I've seen online, it seems to be a firmware issue with Regza LCDs. Toshiba has made a new firmware available on its website to solve this issue, but unfortunately, I can't find it on the manufacturer's site.

Can someone help me?

Hello everyone

Having bought a Toshiba 40L1333DG television about a week ago, after plugging it into the wall socket via a cable, I went into the menu and in the installation section, I initiated different types of searches (Automatic, Manual, Analog, etc.) to no avail. The only response I get after each search is:

PLEASE CHECK THE ANTENNA CONNECTION

-1) My cable is properly connected to the back of the TV at the Ant output and to the wall socket, but with no results, I wonder if it might be a completely different antenna?

-2) Am I doing this wrong?

-3) My TV is supposed to have built-in HD and tuning; is there anything else I need to buy to just get normal TV channels?

-4) How am I supposed to proceed to get the channels, what is the procedure?

If anyone is knowledgeable about TVs or has faced this type of problem, please I beg you to help me (I live in an apartment in the city center of Poitiers)

you should simply perform an automatic search  do not choose cable search but antenna search
