Hello

I downloaded VLC to listen to my MP3s from my smartphone in my car. I see it is searching for my files and it takes a long time. How can I use it to listen to my music in my car? Thanks to anyone who responds!

    Hello,

Do you like repeating the same question by rephrasing it in several different ways and also the square peg in a round hole.

On any car, a list of mp3 files on a USB key will be read automatically, with VLC which is more designed as its name suggests for videos and which is quite heavy; it’s more challenging since you’ll need to create a playlist.

Unless you project VLC onto the car’s multimedia tablet or download it there, which may fail for other reasons, it’s probably not VLC at fault but your mp3 files whose origin is uncertain and which it seems were extracted or converted from Audio CDs with rights (or mis).

You will probably find the pieces in question on YouTube where you can download them as mp3s and which should normally put an end to this problem.
