Issue converting Flac to MP3 with VLC

Hello,

I'm desperately trying to convert .flac files to .mp3 in a simple and effective way to play them on my turntables. When I do this in VLC:

File/Convert/Stream I choose the Audio MP3 profile and enter my destination. In the "Customize" tab, the Raw box is checked.

When the export happens, I end up with either a .txt file or a -wav file when I change anything in the "Customize" tab.

I don't understand what's not working and if anyone has encountered the same issue.

Hello,

The conversion with VLC works well.

Click on Media then Convert/Save

In the window that opens, click on Add.
Select the file to convert.

Then click on Convert/Save

In the next window, select Audio-MP3 and at the bottom click on Browse.
Specify the destination folder as well as the name of the converted file with its .mp3 extension.

Then click on Start.

Everything should go smoothly.

Before starting the conversion, make sure that the loop playback icon in the main window is not active (at the bottom) of the screen. I think this could cause crashes.
